PLANET EARTH by Michael Jackson
Planet Earth,my home,my place
A Capricious anomaly in the sea of space
Planet Earth are you just
Floating by,a cloud of dust
A minor globe,about to bust
A piece of metal bound to rust
A speck of matter in a mindless void
A lonely spaceship,a large asteroid
Cold as a rock without a hue
Held together with a bit of glue
Something tells me this isn´t true
You are my sweetheart soft and blue
Do you care, have you a part
In the deepest emotions of my own heart
Tender with breezes caressing and whole
Alive with music,hauting my soul
In my veins I´ve left the mistery
Of corridors of time, books of history
Life songs of ages trobbing in my blood
Have danced the ryhtman of the tide and flood
Your misty clouds,your electric storm
Were turbulent tempests in my own form
I´ve licked the salt,the bitter,the scullt
Of every encounter,of passion,oh heat
Your riotous color,your fragrance,your taste
Have trilled my senses beyond all haste
In your beauty,I`ve know the how
Of timeless bliss, this moment of now

Quem disse que o Ano Novo é só em 1o de janeiro?? Interface celebrates THE YEAR OF THE TIGER with poetry!
*The Tiger*
William Blake
TIGER, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare seize the fire?
And what shoulder and what art
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand and what dread feet?
What the hammer? what the chain?
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? What dread grasp
Dare its deadly terrors clasp?
When the stars threw down their spears,
And water'd heaven with their tears,
Did He smile His work to see?
Did He who made the lamb make thee?
Tiger, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
